Terms of Service

Last updated 2 August 2026.

DRAFT — LEGAL REVIEW REQUIRED. This document is a placeholder and has not been reviewed by a lawyer.

The service

PaidWell provides payment-behaviour facts about New Zealand companies, derived from supplier ledgers and public registers. We publish computed facts, not opinions — there are no reviews, ratings, or commentary. PaidWell is an information service only: it is not credit advice, and a report is not a credit report issued under contract.

Membership and acceptable use

You agree to provide accurate account and organisation information. You may not scrape, bulk-extract, or resell data obtained from the service, and reasonable rate limits are enforced on all accounts. Accounts found to have registered false payment defaults may have those defaults removed and their access to PaidWell suspended.

Registered defaults

A contributor registering a default attests that it meets our eligibility criteria: at least NZ$500 outstanding, at least 90 days past due, and 14 days' written notice already served on the subject. Subjects may dispute a registered default. PaidWell moderates disputes, and its decision only affects how the default is displayed on this platform — it does not itself resolve the underlying debt.

Payments and refunds

Pay-per-report purchases are one-off charges processed via Stripe. Refunds are available on request through support; a refunded report loses the access it granted. Contact support@paidwell.example (placeholder address) for refund requests.

Liability

The service is provided as-is. Any decision to extend credit based on information from PaidWell is yours alone, and our liability arising from use of the service is capped at the fees you have paid us.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand, and any dispute arising from them will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New Zealand.
